A wee legend.
Team Ireland’s wait for a Gold medal in the track events at this year’s Special Olympics World Games is over.
Rachel Ryan was first across the line in the 400 metres event at Loker Stadium this afternoon.

The Tipperary native’s Gold adds to the 15 other medals already secured by Team Ireland at this year’s games so far, a great effort.
The games will continue until August 2 with athletes from across the country competing in 12 different disciplines.
