Richard Satchwell, 57, appeared in court on Saturday morning.
Richard Satchwell, the husband of Tina Satchwell, has been charged with her murder.
Ms Satchwell was reported missing from her home on Grattan Street in Youghal, Cork back in March 2017.
Over six years later, the Garda Technical Bureau team discovered what they believed to be human remains last Wednesday evening (11 October) while conducting an examination at the residence.
Dental records reportedly then established to Gardaí that the suspected human remains were those of Ms Satchwell.
