Gardaí investigating following three-car collision in Louth

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that took place in Louth on Saturday, 4 June.

The incident, which involved three cars, occurred at approximately 3.30pm at Gibbstown on the Ardee Road to Dundalk.

Two people were taken to hospital as a result of the collision, where they were treated for their injuries. Both have since been released.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward, with particular emphasis being placed on the movements of a blue Toyota Avensis that travelled along the Ardee Road between 3pm and 3.30pm on the day in question.

Gardaí are asking anyone who was travelling from Ardee to Dundalk via Gibbstown on the Ardee Road who has camera footage – including dash-cam – to make this available to them.
