UK toddler missing: Police appeal to residents to check outbuildings for missing Noah

Community action and local residents in Brantham called to assist in finding missing three-year-old

The toddler was last seen running towards a nearby new build estate wearing a white Bluey t-shirt and black Vans with a white stripe. 

Officers are asking local residents to immediately check gardens, sheds, and outbuildings, while emergency services sweep the surrounding area.

Noah is reportedly partially deaf and non-verbal.

Emergency services have carried out door-to-door operations, while hundreds of volunteers have gone in search of the missing child.

Police reported that efforts to find Noah are still ongoing.

“We are grateful for the support from the public, however ask people not to undertake independent searches overnight,” police said.

“It's important that any public searches are coordinated with police.”

Brantham residents with CCTV or doorbell cameras have been asked to check footage from 15:00 onwards. 

Anyone driving with dashcams have also been asked to check footage in hopes of sightings of the three-year-old.

Local police are said to have been running search operations throughout all of last night, with drinks and toilet facilities available to volunteers.

Brantham Parish Police posted on Facebook: "We have been completely overwhelmed by the support received from the Brantham community and from visitors from far and wide.

“Our thanks go to the emergency services and all the volunteers who have joined the search so far."

Train passengers running from Manningtree and Ipswich have been warned that services would be slowed down as the search is still undergoing.

Aid helicopters and drones have also been deployed as far as the Essex border.

HM Coastguard has also come in aid to finding Noah, sending Coastguard helicopters and Coastguard Rescue Teams to Brantham.

Superintendent Pete Partridge said: “We are very concerned for Noah's welfare and need to find him as a matter of urgency.

“Given the fast-moving nature of the investigation, it is important that any public searches are co-ordinated with police to ensure we are working together, and that our resources are directed where they can be most effective.

“Anyone who believes they have seen Noah is asked to contact us immediately.”
