It looks set to be another warm week ahead but once again, it will be cloudy with a risk of thundery downpours.

Sunday will be largely dry with some scattered showers across the country with maximum temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees.

As we head into Monday and the rest of the week, temperatures look set to remain high but the week will bring scattered showers and drizzle.

Monday will be mostly cloudy and misty but it will be warm with temperatures once again between 17 and 21 degrees, but temperatures could be even warmer in some of the sunny spells.

Tuesday will be a warm and humid day and there will be drizzle and mist in western and northern coastal areas, but it will be mostly dry elsewhere. It will be sunniest in the east of the country with temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees.

Wednesday will see another mix of cloud and rain, with sunny spells in the south and east of the country, and highs of 22 degrees.

On Thursday it will stay warm, with temperatures hitting 23 degrees, but there will once again be showers and a “heavy risk of thunder”.
