WATCH: Heart-in-mouth moment as ISIS militant surrenders to Kurdish soldiers

A very scary few minutes.

A video of an ISIS militant surrendering to a number of Kurdish soldiers has surfaced online today. The incident took place in Mosul in Iraq. In the video, a tense stand-off takes place, in which the Kurdish soldiers order the ISIS militants to come out of the house that they're in. The Kurdish soldiers shout "Come, we won't kill you." One of the ISIS soldiers emerges from the house, and the Kurdish soldiers raise their weapons to him and tell him to turn around. He obliges, puts his hands above his head and assures them "Don't worry. I'm not going to blow myself up."
