Now this is a bit embarrassing.
The BBC accidentally labelled this ‘the year of the whores’ during its celebrations of the Chinese New Year.
It is, of course, ‘the year of the horse’ but that was lost on the channel’s subtitling system.
Of course, you can get away with nothing in this day and age and the blunder quickly appeared on the Twitterbox.
