Fans of The Rubberbandits are in for a treat, as the Limerick duo have earned themselves a new six-part series on RTÉ.
According to reports in the Irish Sun, the pair will be discussing several aspects of contemporary Irish life in their new series.
Their recent show on the current generation's attitude to the 1916 Rising, coupled with Blindboy Boatclub's insightful comments on suicide and mental health, have made many sit up and take notice.

An RTÉ insider said: "After Blind Boy went on the Late Late Show, the Rubberbandits’ 1916 special became one of the most watched programmes on the RTE Player."
He added that the style of the show will be similar to that special: "“Each show will be based on subjects close to the hearts of the Irish people, but covered by the Rubberbandits with the same irreverence they showed to 1916."
