The weather forecast says you should make your plans for earlier in the week

Carl Kinsella

2016 certainly hasn’t seen the sunniest August in Irish history and that’s not going to change this week…

But Monday and Tuesday are the days for making plans this week. Monday will be particularly good in the coming week, with Met Éireann predicting temperatures of between 19 and 24 degrees.

Tuesday is set to be a decent enough day as well, dry and clear in most areas. Temperatures will be at a minimum of 11 to 14 degrees, so we can at least leave our coats at home.

Things become “unsettled” as the week wears on, with the possibility of heavy rain and thunder. Scattered showers will set in on Wednesday evening and continue until Thursday.

Bring an umbrella.
