They’ll appear in court on Thursday morning.

Three men are due to appear in court on Thursday morning in Roscommon District Court in relation to robberies and violent assaults on sex workers.

The men were arrested on Wednesday following searches on a number of properties in the west Dublin area.

A fourth man arrested in relation to the Garda Operation was released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí believe the motive for the attacks was monetary gain although there was violence involved and the incidents have been terrifying for the victims.

In each of the seven attacks across Ireland over the last month, an appointment is made online and when the client arrived, the sex worker was attacked and robbed by a number of men.

An Garda Síochána is appealing to any sex worker who may have been subject to a similar attack to immediately report the incident.

All reports will be treated with the utmost sensitivity and confidentiality.

An Garda Síochána can be contacted via the Garda Confidential Number 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
