As he spoke at a Phoenix rally, Trump said that earlier this year, in February, he had instructed his defence secretary Pete Hegseth to begin releasing files related to “alien and extra-terrestrial life”.
“This process is well under way, and we found many very interesting documents, I must say”, Trump said at a Turning Point USA event on Friday.
“The first releases will begin very, very soon”, he added.
Just two months ago, former President Barack Obama said that “the odds were good there's life out there”, during a podcast.
The 44th American president even jokingly said that knowing where the aliens are was the first thing he wanted to find out at president.
Meanwhile, some US politicians pushed for a disclosure of government files related to unidentified aerial phenomena, following Obama's comments.
As per NBC News, The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the timeline for a release of documents, or what the release may contain.
The world will soon have new information about aliens and extraterrestrials, courtesy of Donald Trump and his administration.
Trump revealed that America will soon make information public to all those curious, ufologists and normal people alike, as he revealed that the US defence department "very, very soon" will release new UFO-related documents.

Obama later made a second statement about aliens being real, issuing a clarification on Instagram, no less.
Trump was quick to accuse his first term predecessor of revealing classified information, saying “he's not supposed to be doing that”.
