According to the drug dealer, living with his wife while under house arrest was simply “unbearable”…

They say ‘love conquers all’, but the same certainly can’t be said for one convicted drug dealer in Tuscany, Italy, after he begged prison officials to put him back in the slammer because living with his wife while under house arrest was just too “unbearable”.

According to reports, the 32-year-old Tunisian man went down to his local police station on Tuesday afternoon to in the hopes that officials would let him live out the rest of his sentence behind bars.

“Living with his wife was particularly difficult and unbearable,” police said in a statement. The man was “tired of continuously fighting with his wife” and “asked explicitly to be put back in prison”.

It turns out that the Tuscany police force are actually a rather accommodating bunch as a local court issued the man an immediate imprisonment order which saw the drug dealer being returned to prison that the same day.
