We might not have a summer like we have had this year for a while and we can’t think of a better way to remember it than by this video made by a pair of Brazilian visitors to our shores.
We don’t half like to give out about the land we live in on a regular basis, but sometimes it takes outsiders to make us realise what a beautiful little country we have.
Much like the video made by a Canadian couple of their Irish holiday that went viral not so long ago – and was duly rewarded by Tourism Ireland – Brazilian pair Gustavo Koruntai and Lu Guimares recently put together a short but beautiful account of their summer in the capital on behalf of E-Dublin TV.
A number of the locations and landmarks featured in the clip will be instantly recognisable but what stands out the most is how happy everyone seems to be, a reflection of how good weather in this country can immediately lift the mood at the drop of a hat.
Kudos to Gustavo and Lu and to everyone involved in the production of the video and hopefully they or other like-minded people will have cause to make something similar in the summers to come.
