Two separate food recalls issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland

Take note…

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued two separate food recalls in recent days.

The first is meat products and meat preparations processed in Tullyard Farm, Unit 8 Oaktree Business Centre, Oaktree Business Park, Trim, Meath being withdrawn from circulation as they were processed in an unapproved facility.

The products are incorrectly labelled and carry inappropriate identification marks.

The following products with all batch codes and best before dates are affected:

  • Tullyard Farm Smoked Dry Cure Rashers
  • Tullyard Farm Dry Cure Streaky Bacon
  • Tullyard Farm Meat  & Poultry 7oz Beef Burgers
  • Tullyard Farm Meat & Poultry Mince Beef

No other Tullyard Farm products are affected.

In a separate recall, Tesco Ireland is recalling one batch of its Tesco Organic Almonds, due to the presence of salmonella.

The affected batch is L8004010 with a best before date of Feb 2019.

Tesco Ireland has issued in-store notices requesting customers who have bought the implicated batch not to consume it and instead, to return it to a Tesco store.
