VIDEO: Oliver Callan reflects the nation’s anger two months after the General Election

Tony Cuddihy

“They’re caretaker ministers. I wouldn’t trust them with a mop bucket, let alone a full government department.”

Oliver Callan is not everyone’s cup of tea, but the satirist did a great job of summing up our frustration with the political parties of this country almost two months since the country went to the polls.

Appearing on Friday night’s Late Late Show, Callan explained the various phases of waiting for Enda Kenny, Micheál Martin et al to get their s**t together.

And don’t get him started on how much money many of the interim ministers have made since 26 February.

We’re with him all the way on this.
