Too close for comfort

JOE always felt that one of the bravest and most dangerous jobs in the world is being a broadcast journalist in a war-torn area.

BBC correspondent Ian Pannell can testify to this after his recent broadcast that highlighted the precarious and volatile state of the current ceasefire in eastern Ukraine.

Although a ceasefire between the Ukrainian government and pro-Russian separatists has been in place since Sunday, it’s estimated that it has been breached 139 times within the first 24 hours.

The journalist and his team were reporting from Donetsk before they had to flee for their lives as artillery shells blasted the nearby building.

Take a look.
