A terrible accident in NYC.
The collapse of the crane killed one person and seriously injured two others but it’s amazing that more people weren’t hurt given the sheer size of the crane.
The crane spanned the entire length of Worth Street when it fell crushing several parked cars, trapping some motorists inside.
Footage of the crane collapsing has emerged and you can hear the shrieks of twisted metal as the crane finally gives way and collapses after teetering for a few moments.
