The Irish singer/songwriter Tara Stacy recently bought a ticket for Electric Picnic over the net, but when the ticket never arrived she decided to write this song…

There’s nothing worse than paying for something with your own cold hard cash only for that item to never arrive.

Sadly, that’s what Tara Stacy from Galway says happened to her, so she decided to write this very catchy tune.

Tara got onto us here at JOE to share her side of the story: “Last week I bought a ticket to electric picnic from a man on done deal – a risk, I know, but I had faith in common decency…

“So after transferring the money to his account, he said he was in the post office as we speak and sending the ticket via swift post. Strangely enough, the ticket has yet to come, and for some reason his phone has been off ever since! I wrote this little ditty, and with the help of a few friends, got it online the same day.

“My goal is to spread it far and wide, in the hope that the nasty bugger will hear it. In a pretty helpless position, I figured this was one of the more proactive things I could do.”

We hope you get tickets to EP anyway, Tara – or maybe they might still turn up…
