VIDEO: Rival protesters meet in Dallas and join forces in a touching show of unity

Tony Cuddihy

“We’re all brothers and sisters.”

A Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas took a turn for the unexpected on Sunday, when two groups of demonstrators came together in a show of peace of conciliation.

Shared by CNN, this video shows how a Black Lives Matter gathering on one side of a street was met by an All Lives Matter protest on the other side of the street.

Representatives from both sides were sent to talk to each other, and instead of getting involved in any aggravation, protesters from across the divide came together and embraced each other in a movement that will hopefully spread across a divided United States.

Wonderful stuff.
