Several flights have been affected today because of Storm Frank.
JOE reader Pat O’Regan sent us footage of a Ryanair plane aborting an attempted landing due to severe winds at approximately 1.15pm this afternoon.

Gardai eventually moved crowds away from the area where the footage was recorded from, while Pat told us that there were eight similar incidents during the time he was at the airport.
Dublin Airport revealed that there had already been three flight diversions before midday today and that the flight schedule has been impacted due to severe windy conditions.

Passengers travelling to and from the airport are urged to contact their flight operator before travelling.
