Unseasonably windy.

Met Éireann has issued a weather advisory for Ireland as the country looks set to be hit by some unseasonably windy weather overnight.

While not enough to warrant a weather warning, Met Éireann has said that there’s potential for some low level impacts from the wind.

The weather advisory is in effect from 9pm on Friday night until 2pm on Saturday afternoon.

We can expect to see heavy rain for much of Saturday morning, with the northern half of the country set to bear the brunt of it.

The rain will ease in the afternoon but a dull day will follow with temperatures hanging around the mid teens.

Sunday will be a mostly dry day with some sunny with the south receiving the best of the weather. It will be warmer with temperatures hitting 18 degrees before cooling overnight.

The rest of the week is a mixed bag with days of rain and hail as well as temperatures in the low twenties. You can find more information on that here.
