The man will appear in court on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí investigating the death of a man in his 30s following an incident at house at Meadowvale, Arklow, have confirmed that a man arrested in connection with the incident will be charged at 5.30pm today (7 May).
The man, who has not been named by the Gardaí, is expected to go before Bray District Court this afternoon to be charged in connection with the death.
The Gardaí have specified that the man is in his 40s.
The fatal stabbing of a man in his late-30s took place in the early hours of Monday morning.
The victim has since been named locally as Stephen Kavanagh.
He was treated at the scene by emergency services and removed to St. Vincent’s University Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
