Racing at Kempton goes ahead for now but keep a check on things there as temperatures hit serious lows.

Interestingly, John Oxx runs FLASH MCGAHON yet again across the water after disappointment last week at Lingfield when the money was put down hard on that particular day.

Jamie Spencer takes the ride again and in this poor company you can expect him to fair well.

The Second City derby is a fraught affair at the best of times but with Aston Villa and Birmingham having similar type seasons, languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table, expect tonight’s encounter to be full of zing.

They meet in the Carling Cup quarter-final at St Andrews and the importance of a win for both sides is paramount for fans. We’re going to take some of the 11/5 for a draw in this one.

JOE’s Daily Double: Flash McGahon (Kempton, 4.30 @ 6/1) and Villa to draw with Birmingham @ 11/5.
