It’s a shame that we have to endure a lack of national hunt racing at this time of year but we’ll still endeavour to bring you winners.

Looking at the card at Lingfield today, Jamie Spencer rides LEWYN for Kevin Ryan and this lad will be doing all he can to stick his neck out.

He was unlucky last time out at Wolverhampton at a big price and he’s been close enough in all of his last three runs.

In London tonight, West Ham host Manchester United in the Carling Cup fourth round.

The Hammers have been poor so far this season but a resolute win against Wigan at the weekend will stir confidence in the side for this contest at Upton Park.

Expect them to face a shadow United side who may be found wanting against a West Ham team that will strive to win this one. They’re massive value for the win at 4/1.

JOE’s Daily Double: Lewyn (Lingfield, 1.15 @ 5/1) and West Ham to beat Man United @ 4/1.
