He won’t be heading back to the classroom anytime soon.

Jordan Spieth has become a global superstar following his sensational performance to win the US Masters on Sunday in Augusta.

His caddie is 37-year old Michael Greller. Greller is a former teacher who quit teaching to take up full-time caddying for Spieth.

The Masters - Final Round

Tony Manfred of Business Insider estimates that in the last 30 days alone, based on standard caddie contracts, Greller would have earned a staggering $375,000 (a little over €350,000), quadrupling his annual teaching salary in one month.

Spieth has now moved to number two player in the world behind Rory McIlroy and Greller will not be missing classrooms anytime soon.
