PIC: Joe Marler has made a statement on Twitter about his ‘Gypsy boy’ comments to Samson Lee

Joe Marler will learn tomorrow of what disciplinary action he will face for calling Welsh rugby player Samson Lee a ‘gypsy boy’ during this year’s Six Nations.

Marler avoided a ban during the Six Nations due to his perceived remorse and apology to Lee at half-time.

A World Rugby panel will now judge whether or not he is to face disciplinary action going forward.

Marler has posted the following statement to his Twitter page this evening, clarifying that while he is sorry, he also does not wish to be perceived as a racist.
