What a bloody finish!
Ireland erupted following the slotting of the ball nicely at almost full-time by Johnny Sexton. If we loved him at half-time, then we really bleedin’ love the Dublin-native now.
Sexton, who is now being dubbed “the ultimate player” and “stubborn in terms of perfection and training”, has just stolen our hearts wholly and truly and confirmed his status as one of the greats.
He has saved Ireland’s championship, he has saved the country from getting up and feeling rubbish tomorrow. That is what he has done in that one moment. And it seems that the whole of Ireland is currently swooning in his favour.
