Well, there is a way that you could win shedloads of cash for your club and solve all those problems. Topaz Cash for Clubs is back and it’s inviting clubs from all over the country to get involved.
You may be asking yourself “What is Topaz Cash for Clubs?” at this point. Well, we’ve put together this short guide to tell you everything you need to know.
How does Topaz Cash for Clubs work?
Once you register your club and sign up for the Topaz Cash for Clubs initiative, you’ll earn tokens when you buy fuel at Topaz. If your club earns enough tokens, it will be entered into a draw with all the other clubs.
Topaz Cash for Clubs will be giving out €200,000 in total this year, divided between 151 lucky clubs. The first club drawn will receive €10,000, another 10 more clubs will get €5,000 and a further 140 clubs will get €1,000.
That should buy you a few jerseys!
How do you get tokens?
You can use your existing Play or Park game tag or pick up a tag in-store to keep track of your tokens when you buy fuel at Topaz. You’ll earn one token for every £20 or €30 you spend on fuel, with a maximum of three tokens per transaction.
Can any club join in?
Yes. It’s open to clubs from any part of the country, regardless of size. It’s open to any club or group that promotes active community engagement, social engagement or a healthy lifestyle.
So we’re pretty sure that any Pintmen clubs out there will fail to qualify as an organisation that promotes a “healthy lifestyle.”
How long do we have to enter?
You can enter between 15 May and 13 August 2017.
How can I see how my club is doing?
You need to get a crystal ball and… no, we’re only kidding. You can check your club’s progress on the Play or Park website. That will show you how many tokens your club has and how close you are to reaching your goal.
Is there any way to increase my chances?
Well, it’s a numbers game. Get your friends, family, neighbours and casual acquaintances to sign up on behalf of your club. The more people you have collecting tokens, the more chance there is of hitting the target.
It’s all about teamwork, people!
How do I sign up?
It’s pretty easy. You’ll need to sign up as a Play or Park member, which you can do in Topaz stores, online or via the Topaz app.
Then check if your club is already registered on the website. If not, you can easily register your club.
You’ll also need to nominate the club for which you’re collecting tokens. Again, this can be done in-store, online or by calling Topaz on 1850 320320 (Republic of Ireland) or 0800 1077720 (Northern Ireland).
Once you’ve got all the admin out of the way, it’s time to start collecting tokens and get everyone you know to do the same. What are you waiting for?
