This brilliant trick, played by the Jimmy Fallon show on New York Yankees fans, simply has to be brought over to this side of the world.
They took former New York Yankees star Robinson Cano, who recently moved to the Seattle Mariners, and put him in a box with his face on it. Then they asked passing Yankee fans to boo at the picture ahead of his return to play his first game in the city, which most did with great gusto.
They soon stopped though when the man himself stepped out of the box.
The reaction of the fans to facing the man they were abusing just seconds before is class and fair play to Cano for going along with the gag.
