The BDO has often been described as the poor-man’s PDC and this embarrassing clip will do little to change public perceptions.

While Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor again took the PDC World Title, the BDO equivalent is underway on the BBC. With the defection of many of the top names to the PDC in recent years, coupled with much smaller budget, the BDO has struggled to attract the same following.
When the face of the game is Bobby George, then it is easy to see where the image issues begin. The incident between Rune David and Wesley Harms was something the BDO would not have been pleased to see.
David was struggling badly against Wesley Harms and the pressure took its toll, with one of his darts failing to even make the board.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the reaction of the score-keeper makes is priceless as he, like us, is stunned to see a player fail to even make the board.
