We don’t know a lot about bowling but we do know that scoring a perfect game is a hell of an achievement. So you can imagine how p*ssed off this bowler would have been when this happened…

The bowler in question, Troy Walker, was competing in the Luci Bonneau Doubles tournament in Houston and had nailed 11 strikes in a row before lining up what would surely have been the most memorable throw of his life for a score of 300, the perfect game.

His attempt for the final strike looked to be right on the button as well, only for him to end up watching on in horror as the rack came down on the ball and prevented it from hitting any pins whatsoever.

Acknowledging that it was cruel way to deny a perfect game, tournament officials allowed him another attempt at the strike, but his head was obviously gone at this stage and he could only muster up a seven, leaving him with a final tally of 297, an incredibly good score indeed, but not quite perfect.

Let’s just hope Troy’s bowling career doesn’t end up in the gutter after this major setback *JOE goes to get coat*
