Forget the about ‘Me’ section, it’s all about the pictures
Research says we figure out more about someone’s personality from their pictures than from their excerpt. So that lazy, last-minute selfie probably isn’t doing you much good or getting you much attention.
A confident relaxed pose is what your potential other half is looking for.
Look more extrovert
Extroversion is the one trait that people pick up on the most, so when you are facing the camera head on be more energetic with your pose and, the big one, don’t slouch.
May as well just delete all your pictures in that case then.
Smile big
It sounds simple, but smiling in photos shows people you are friendly, so the bigger the smile the friendlier you are!
Of course don’t overdo it and look like Bruno the shark in Jaws.
Include pictures with your friends
Another painfully obvious one that still needs to be pointed out.
Pictures with your friends highlight your social skills and also highlight whether or not you have an outgoing personality.
Including pictures of your friends and family indicates the social circles that you move in and is more of an indication of whether or not you two are a suitable match.
Stand with your arms behind your back
This is a weird one, but experiments have proven that photos of people with their hands behind their backs are rated to be more confident than people posing in other ways.
It might not be your normal way of posing, but if science says it will get you more matches, what are you waiting for?
Grow a beard
Get some facial hair on that face. Studies have proven that women look for men with more masculine faces; chiselled cheekbones, stronger jawline and more facial hair.
