That’s an awful lot of ‘lolz’ to be sending lads
Whatsapp is one of the most used messaging services on smartphones, we don’t need any facts and figures to back that up after Facebook blew their financial load on acquiring it, but the levels of messages sent by its 450 million users is pretty staggering.
The lads at Whatsapp tweeted out the statistics for their record-setting day (although they haven’t said what 24-hour period they’re referring to yet) where 64 billion messages were handled by the service, which works out at about 750,000 every second.
