The dating app is set to up its game…

Tinder has been around for almost two years now and there’s been mixed results for us beautiful folk in Ireland. Congrats to those of you who have found a hook-up, someone to go on a few dates with, a girlfriend, a soulmate or a wife. We’re delighted for you. No really, we are.

We still on the lookout though and that’s despite having our settings on the maximum kilometre radius and the maximum age brackets… WHY WON’T SOMEBODY LOVE US?! *A single tear rolls down JOE’s face*

We were about to give up on Tinder until news broke today that there’s some new features coming next month with the launch of Tinder Premium.

Tinder CEO Sean Rad (great name) has announced that some new yet-to-be-confirmed features are coming down the line. He was pretty vague but he did hint that users might be able to view people in a city they are travelling to in the near future as part of the new features. We imagine most Irish lads will be “going to Rio on holidays” once the upgrades kicks in.

The thing about this is that it’s going to cost you to get these mysterious new features. No prices have been mentioned but if you’re serious about your online dating, you’ll probably be on this. Or else you could just go out and try and meet someone in real life… Sorry, we’re just talking crazy now.
