If you haven't yet started following UK comedian and all-round genius Peter Serafinowicz, this will be our last warning.
Best known for his roles in Spaced or Look Around You, Serafinowicz is one of the few comedians on Twitter that is actually funny, as he constantly challenges the medium, makes up his own nonsensical jokes and enages in Q&A's with fans.
Yesterday, however, was one of the smartest tweets we can ever recall seeing and got the comedian's 468,000 in a right tizzy:
"Lots of you upset by my last joke. Have now deleted. I apologize again for any offense."
Of course the joke was, there was no joke - he hadn't written anything. However, not everyone will have been on Twitter at the time he had tweeted, so anyone reading that tweet later on would need to find out what he said asap and would turn to fellow Serafinowicz followers to see if they had 'saved' the joke before it disappeared. Hence, tweets upon tweets of fans clamouring to read what the phantom joke was and Serafinowicz continuing to profusely apologise and retweet mock outrage from followers who had supposedly read the joke.
Unless... there actually was a joke... but no, that can't be! You can follow Serafinowicz here.
