Robbie Keane was on Goals on Sunday this morning and it seems like his choice of shirt has been of as much interest as what the LA Galaxy striker had to say about all things football.
The Republic of Ireland striker was on talking about his time in the States with the Galaxy, his vote in the Ballon d’Or and his time in the Premier League. It’s safe to say that Rafa Benitez is not the Tallaght man’s favourite manager of all-time.
He jokingly said that Barack Obama and himself are good buddies – “we Skype eachother regularly” – it was his choice of shirt that gathered quite a reaction.
Here is a sample of the commentary on Twitter.

That’s a strange shirt Robbie Keane’s wearing on Goals On Sunday. Looks like a plumber’s workclothes.
