The former Liverpool striker’s injury misery continues.
Andy Carroll will be out until November after tearing ankle ligaments in pre-season.
The 25-year-old has had a miserable time with injuries over the last couple of seasons and today’s news comes as a shock to Hammers fans, who only expected Carroll to be out for a couple of weeks.
The news was tweeted by Jack Sullivan, the son of West Ham c0-owner David.
