Following his loan switch to Sunderland on transfer deadline day, erratic Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has promised never to return to the Emirates.
The gangly Danish international reckons he has been hard done by with the Gunners since he was in a car crash two years ago.
"After my car accident I never really got the chance to earn a spot in the first team,” the 23-year-old told The Sun.
“I will never go back to Arsenal. If I can have it my way, I will never play for them again.
"I am really looking forward to playing for Sunderland and then we will see next summer."
Clearly there’s bad blood between Bendtner and Arsene Wenger but this parting shot hasn’t seemed to have left a sour taste in the mouths of Gunners fans.
The typical tweet doing the rounds online at the moment is: “Who cares if he never comes back?”
