Calling all entrepreneurs! The AIB Start-up nights are back in town

Looking to get your idea out there?

JOE

If you’re a budding entrepreneur with a fresh start-up then the AIB Start-up Academy nights are must-attend events for you.

Last year, AIB, in association with The Irish Times, featured a number of great events for start-ups all around the country.

From Dublin to Sligo, Athlone to Killarney, JOE was in attendance at each of the events and we got talking to a number of eager start-ups who had some brilliant ideas (see here for more).

The events let budding start-ups pitch their ideas to other entrepreneurs and potential investors and the nights were great opportunities for those in attendance to network with likeminded people.

Tonight, the AIB Start-up Academy returns to Dublin in The Sugar Club and it’s set to feature elevator pitches from new start-ups, talks by established entrepreneurs and, as we said above, great networking opportunities for those who head along.

Speakers on the night will include Brody Sweeney from Camile Thai Kitchen and David Mc Kernan, founder & CEO at Java Republic.

Thursday’s AIB Start-up Academy night is sold out, but make sure to keep an eye out on JOE and the EventBrite website to find out when and where the next event will take place.

If you’re starting up your own business, this is an event you WON’T want to miss.
