On 20 November, the Olympia Theatre is set to play host to some of the biggest names in the history of Manchester United in the form of Peter Schmeichel, Dwight Yorke and Bryan Robson.
The trio will be recalling some feats from their playing days with Schmeichel and Yorke speaking in detail about the successful treble winning season in 1998/99. Robson will also be speaking about the foundations of the club in the early ‘90s that lead to the club’s extraordinary success over the last 20 years.
While plenty of Liverpool and Arsenal fans and, actually, fans of anyone but United may disagree, this event will be well worth a look for all soccer fans and you should try get your hands on tickets when they are released this Friday, September 26.
Even if you don’t like Man Utd, all soccer lovers would admit Schmeichel is one of the finest keepers of his generation and there is no doubting the pedigree of Bryan Robson. At the very least, you are sure to hear some great stories from Dwight Yorke about the managerial techniques of Roy Keane, whom he played under at Sunderland.
