A prominent Clare dual player is in a critical condition after being involved in a hit and run incident earlier this week.
Aaron Considine has represented the Banner at inter-county level at minor, junior football and intermediate hurling level.
The 19-year-old from the Clarecastle club was struck by a car after midnight at College View, Ennis on Monday night.
Aaron will undergo surgery later this week, while a special mass will be held in Clarecastle to pray for his recovery on Friday morning at 10am.
A man, believed to have been the driver of the car involved in the incident, presented himself at Ennis Garda Station this week.
