This week we’re eyeballing one from Crystal Fighters, Lupe Fiasco's new track and a rare gem from American band with a crap name, Death Cab for Cutie.

Death Cab for Cutie, You Are A Tourist. Download here.
American indie rockers Death Cab for Cutie have been banging around since the late 1990s, delivering tracks and albums of varied quality and with differing levels of success. However, with a chilled, instantly catchy guitar rift and warmly, warbling base-line, You Are a Tourist is without doubt among the band’s best work yet.
Ignore the crap name – Death Cab for Cutie are worth a spin.

Crystal Fighters, At Home. Download here.
If Crystal Castles got Foo Fighters up the stick, the baby would sound nothing like Crystal Fighters. However, the Spanish/British outfit does bear a resemblance to the likes of The Naked and Famous or The Joy Formidable. Not bad company to be keeping.
At Home is the latest, and probably the best, single from their album, Star of Love. Keep it coming.

Lupe Fiasco, All Black Everything. Download here.
The world had high hopes for Lupe when he exploded onto the scene back in 2006 with his sensational debut album, Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor. The young Muslim stood out from the bullets, bitches and bling set by adopting the seemingly novel approach of writing about things that actually happened in his life and in the lives of his audience.
The interim has been somewhat mixed but with All Black Everything, we find a Lupe that is very much back on form. The lyric-focused Nas-esque number hints that the best may still be yet to come from this chap.
