When the stars of the brand-spankin’, shiny, new Fast & Furious 6 film specifically requested that they be exclusively interviewed by JOE, we thought we’d happily oblige and so travelled over to London to meet them.
By Eoghan Doherty
We caught up with Fast & Furious 6 stars and internationally-acclaimed recording artists Tyrese Gibson and Chris Bridges/Ludacris/Mr Luda/Ludabridge to have a wee chat about the latest installment.
We’re pretty sure we inadvertently insulted Tyrese on a number of occasions and unfortunately the two lads refused to rap with us due to our silly Irish “chapped lips.”
Other than that though, it’s all swag.
Or something cool and rapper-y like that.
Following on from the events of Fast Five, the latest installment in the hugely-successful film franchise sees Dominic Toretto’s team (Vin Diesel) reunited after they learn that Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) may still be alive and working for evil heist leader, Owen Shaw (Luke Evans).
Reluctantly teaming up with Hobbs (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson), the gang’s nemesis from the previous film, Dom’s best motor-head buds (Paul Walker, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Tyrese Gibson, Jordanna Brewster, Elsa Pataky, Gal Gadot) vow to track their old leading lady down and, at the same time, try to put a stop to Shaw’s maniacal plans.
Oh, and there’s lots of sexy cars and ladies. What more do you want?
Keep an eye on the JOE.ie movie section all week, as we'll be putting up our exclusive Irish interviews with the rest of the Fast & Furious 6 stars in the build up to the film's release on May 17.
