Noel Hunt is having a bit of a knees-up on his stag out wesht today and guest of honour Ian Harte is looking for some tips on the best places to go in the City of the Tribes.
Ireland is indeed a great place to be when the sun is out and there are few better places to soak up the atmosphere when the weather is warm than Galway, so it’s safe to say that Noel Hunt couldn’t have picked a better weekend to have his stag do in the City of the Tribes.
One of the guests on Hunt’s shindig is his former Reading team-mate Ian Harte and having signalled a couple of weeks back that he’d be in Galway this weekend, he has been keeping his Twitter followers up to date with the progress of the stag party so far having initially sought their advice on the best places to go in town.
When we last checked, the lads had set up camp in O’Connell’s pub just off Eyre Square, although it sounded like it was no place for the timid if Hunt’s last tweet about ‘bear’ gardens was anything to go by.
It’s early days yet so no doubt Hunt, Harte and company will be spotted at numerous locations throughout the city tonight, just keep an eye on Harte’s Twitter feed for more details.
