Mel Gibson is being sought by Sylvester Stallone to join the cast of the third Expendables movie set to go into production in the coming weeks.
Gibo has had a mad few years after his arrest for drunk driving and anti-semitic remarks to a member of the fuzz that pulled him over. Then he went and screamed a bunch of random, racist s**t down the phone to his ex in the middle of a row – which she taped and released to TMZ… our “someone” did. Anyway, he’s a mad bastard is Mel… if undeniably talented.
Anyway, Gibson is rich; like, ‘buy a premier league club on a whim’ rich so doesn’t need to worry about where his next pay cheque is coming from. But Stallone is apparently close to convincing him to be part of the huge ensemble cast of the third flick in the shamelessly gung-ho action packed series.
He has already turned down the chance to direct it, but according to Showbiz 411 is close to picking up an uzi and joining Sly and Statham in fighting a bunch of bad guys.
He pops up as a bad guy himself in Machete 2 – opposite Charlie Seen – soon.
