Now who said that Crystal Palace would be dull to watch under Tony Pulis?
Well pretty much everyone, including ourselves, but their opening goal at Selhurst Park today was very easy on the eye with Jason Puncheon showing sublime skill out wide before whipping in a perfect cross for Cameron Jerome to head home from six yards out.
While Palace are still favourites for the drop, it only took Pulis two games to register his first win when they took all three points against West Ham and they made the perfect start today against Cardiff, though City keeper David Marshall won’t look back on the goal with any fond memories.
We always suspected they would pack quite a Punch under Pulis, but hats off to the on-loan Southampton midfielder with a fine piece of individual skill.
