A few years behind the curve with their own iTunes product, Google has finally made Google Play available in Ireland, meaning you can now buy music through the Play store.

The difference is that you can stream and sync your music between android devices and your computer using Chrome, and you can add up to 20,000 of your own tracks to your own account on Music.

This will come in particularly handy if you have several Android devices or if you don;t want to clog up your device with music files.

There’s also the option of using Artist Hub, so budding musicians can upload their music for people to buy as well.

Hopefully, we’ll also eventually see Google Play offering movies and books, like it does in the US, on our shores.
