United Airlines suffered embarrassing publicity when passengers on its 10 hour flight from San Francisco to London were left without toilet paper mid-flight.
The sticky situation arose when not enough was stocked on the plane, forcing those onboard to improvise with cocktail napkins.
The browned off passengers were far from happy with the situation according to reports in The Huffington Post.
“That’s disgusting, that’s just so terrible,” one United passenger to ABC News. “If I’m paying for a ticket, that should include the price of toilet paper, I would think.”
The airline has apologised for the oversight, but did add if they were to make a stop to re-stock, it would have delayed the flight time. No shi* – if you pardon the phrase.
Just as well they had plenty of napkins onboard, could have been an influx of new members to the Mile Shi*e club!
