Ahead of the App Store’s fifth birthday this week, Apple are giving away lots of great apps for free. Get downloading folks…
Spotted by those eagle-eyed people at The Verge, this unannounced promo from Apple is thought by many to be linked to the fifth birthday of the software superstore this week.
Lots of apps, good ones at that, that have never been free before are now all yours for nothing. Massive games like Infinity Blade II, Badland and the very addictive Tiny Wings are now available but it’s not just games that are up for grabs.
Online journal/diary Day One, photo and video app Over and Traktor DJ, a very high end DJ app that was once very expensive indeed, is there too.
As there is no official list from Apple, there may well be more free gems floating around so it is well worth having a poke around today.
Wednesday July 10 is the fifth birthday of the store, so keep your eyes peeled this week if you’re an iPhone user.
