An Irishman is believed to be amongst those injured at the running of the bulls today in Pamplona
The traditional running of the bulls festival in Pamplona is by its very nature a dangerous thing to partake in, and it seems that an Irishman has been injured in today’s run.
The 28-year-old, who is unnamed as yet, was injured when there was a crush at the entrance to the bull ring as the animals tried to climb over the runners.
He is currently in hospital and believed to be suffering from chest injuries and asphyxia related to the crushing, and his condition has been described as serious.
